IFSA Opens the FY2026-2027 Grant Application Cycle
Green Bay, Wisconsin, October 15, 2025 – The International Fire Suppression Alliance (IFSA) is pleased to announce that applications are now open for its Fiscal Year 2026–2027 grant program. The program offers funding opportunities for organizations dedicated to promoting the adoption and improvement of automatic water-based fire suppression systems outside of North America. Since its inception, IFSA has served as the leading global trade association for the water-based fire suppression industry. Over the past 20 years, the Alliance has awarded more than US $4 million in grants to support a wide range of initiatives, including research, education, training, and regulatory advocacy in countries around the world.
For the 2026–2027 funding cycle, IFSA will prioritize grant applications that address one or more of the following focus areas:
- Developing or strengthening organizations with similar objectives to IFSA
- Advancing fire safety regulations, building codes, and fire codes
- Promoting adoption of recognized product standards to protect industry integrity
- Improving industry performance through the enforcement of recognized installation and maintenance standards
- Educating regulators, public officials, and the general public on the life-safety benefits and proven effectiveness of automatic water-based fire suppression systems
