Flexible Hose Assemblies

A flexible hose assembly for fire sprinklers is a prefabricated, stainless steel corrugated or braided hose used to connect branch piping to individual sprinklers, allowing quick and adjustable installation without rigid piping. Commonly used in suspended or acoustical tile ceilings, the flexible hose facilitates precise sprinkler placement and reduces labor during ceiling layout changes. It also helps absorb vibration and movement. These hoses may be offered with or without a sprinkler attached. To maintain proper sprinkler positioning and performance, listed ceiling bracket assemblies are required. These brackets securely anchor the sprinkler to the ceiling grid or structure and prevent displacement during activation or seismic events. Both the hose and bracket system must be installed as a listed assembly and in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
