Sprinklers

Automatic fire sprinklers are heat-activated devices designed to discharge water upon detecting fire conditions, providing immediate suppression or control. In commercial settings, standard response and quick response sprinklers focus on controlling fire spread to protect property and allow safe egress. Residential sprinklers utilize fast response operating mechanisms and are designed to provide high wall wetting, targeting life safety by controlling fire growth in its earliest stage. For high-piled storage applications—common in warehouses—specialized sprinklers such as ESFR (Early Suppression, Fast Response), Control Mode Specific Application (CMSA), or in-rack sprinklers are used to suppress high-challenge fires with high discharge densities and larger droplets to penetrate deep into storage arrays.
